    Hello and welcome.

I think these Heer swords should have ruby red coloured eyes, it certainly looks like your beastie did have eyes at an earlier point in its life.

To get better advice and opinions, if you can have a look at other users posts regarding their blades and see how they photograph the important areas of a blade eg maker mark or any other markings, crossguard, pommel, guard etc. The more information the better.

As for value, if you stick around long enough you will realise that values are not discussed. But surely having just purchased it recently you would have an idea.

    Best regards

Thank you for the reply Jamie. I only wanted to make sure I never paid to much it's going to be staying with me for long time. Is it worth getting the eyes done because it looks abit odd.

I've got my eye on two Luftwaffe officers swords, but he doesn't want to let them go. Just have keep asking.

Yeah some swords are amazing, just take a look at Michaels collection in the 'sword' section.

I will get a Lufty sword one day, for now I just make do with my amazing 1st Pattern dagger that I was able to get thanks to a member on this forum.

    Your example looks fine.
But, they do look better with the glass eyes in.
Here is my WMW Waffen Panther head sword to compare.
