Re: German sword
Having a swas pointing the wrong side we could have a extremly rare type of sword here!!!
I agree with the "junk type"!
And when I say "junk" it is in no way connected to the name or therm Junkers or Junker.
cheers

The swastika isn't correct. No wire wrap on the grip. Bad photo but it doesn't look like an original trade mark. Overall poor quality. I'm not a sword collector but I have owned a few of them. If I saw this sword at a show the word junk would pop in my mind in about a half a second.

Re: German sword
While I (agree) with the opinion, but it does make for a better thread than just one word.
So thanks Kirby for the for adding your explanation and Kris.

Re: German sword
Thanks for the replies, I don't understand how I missed the swastika being wrong...I guess you see what you want to......and while I feel like fool it could have been worse.

But not on a Degen. And what is the makers mark? got better pics you can do please.
This will help our data base.

Its ashame that the photo can not be enlarged..it is possible the photo is mirror reversed.
It is not the size of a Collection in History that matters......Its the size of your Passion for it!!
