I don't know a ton about swords. For many years I just had two - and officer and an NCO - to enhance dress uniform displays. My officer model is an Eickhorn "Wrangel" #1693 and it's really not in the finest condition with the gilt almost entirely gone from the hilt and the scabbard paint being quite worn. I bought it because the blade was nice and it was affordable. I recently decided to step up my game in this department and acquired a minty officer FW Höller #24. Now that it has arrived, I decided to do a photo shoot of all three. I never even researched the model of the Eickhorn NCO sword and would appreciate any input on any of them from our members who study edged weapons.
