The blog- Why to use it?
Firstly the blog area is more personolized for your purposes. You have to write here your ideas, useful information and pictures, to more easy access to it.
If you feel you need to post a useful information which will be stick, but forum itself cannot have all the threads to be sticked, you can allways link to your blog, or at least use link on the each of your posts at the footer as a signature, in that case you do need to find your useful post which was posted a year ago and mixed with other posts and go to the archive pages...
