editing post as a life time member

I always thought that as a life time member I had unlimited ability to edit my posts but I notice that that seems to no longer to be the case?

I just wanted to edit a technical designation of an item and cannot!

As far as I know, it never worked. I can only edit posts for 24 hours.

I must be losing it in my dotage....though I am sure I used to have no time limit on edits.

Well I don't qualify for the lifetime club but I have been able to edit anything I've ever written since I joined and remained a paying member. I'm always finding typos

So maybe this glitch is just limited to Lifetime members? Could it be the same rules for non club members inadvertently are applied to Lifetime members?

Yup....just tried to edit a 4 year old post. Option is no longer there.
