Re: Another Skull Ring for Review
Looks like a normal canteen style ring to me. Could have been worn by any of the service branches, though, of course-or even a civilian-they were popular designs. Being solid silver, it's more likely than not an Officer's ring.

Hi William, thanks for the input.
Maybe you meant ''more likely an officer's ring'', rather than not an officer's ring?

Re: Another Skull Ring for Review
Hello Chris, Yes-the solid silvers were quite often worn by the Officers, as they cost abit more than the plated ones and most regular soldiers weren't willing to part with much of their beer and women money to buy a ring with, so they usually ended up buying the cheaper versions. But, it's not impossible, of course, that an enlisted man might have worn it too. It looks like a nice ring-is it reasonably priced or is the seller pretending like its an SS ring for sure?(alot of them do this,I've noticed!)

Hi guys thanks for your replies.
It is for sale for 190 euros. Not a cheap one but not way off price IMO.
I bought another skull ring which was relic and in worse condition for 170 so i thought this one deserved a bit more.

Re: Another Skull Ring for Review
190 euros for an 800 silver Totenkopf is reasonable. Nice find!

Re: Another Skull Ring for Review
I'm not an expert. But I have seen similar rings on the market for 1-2 years. Is this ring from German eBay? I'm not going to say it is a fake I'm just not so positive about it.

Re: Another Skull Ring for Review
No it's from Klaus Butschek.
