Canteen ring WW2 original or copy?

Hi lads
I found this ring on the internet and it´s possible to buy it.

But i dont know if its original or copy... Seller said that ring looks like to be made of tin.

Looks like a very poorly cast copy of a known pattern. If it's really made of tin - which is highly unlikely - it's definitely a dud.

There is a huge casting flaw. It can be seen as a line running along on the lower edges of the eyes and all the way round onto the shank. It can also be seen on the inside of the ring. What a monstrosity! Horrible!
