Hi, in my opinion, such unique rings are not really worth counterfeiting, because there is little chance that someone will believe that they are original.
If I put it as a fake, why didn't they finish it and put some decoration on top, because then it's not something beautiful. Although many things are counterfeited in today's world, unfortunately! I don't mean to suggest that it is original, but in any case it is a very interesting ring. However, I would be very interested, if it is indeed original, how did it end up in a French antiquarian?
Regards,
Peeloo

Hello, thank you for your reply. It's a 750 gold electronic tested kind regards
The 750 stamp on the inside of any ring usually indicates 750 parts of pure Gold, per 1000 parts. In other words, the item is 75% pure Gold. This purity is more commonly referred to as 18-carat gold.

Interestingly the other coat of arms belongs to Gorings 2nd wife Emmy Sonneman. Regards Paul

Also ask the seller what the ring size is . Thankyou
Im curious to see how this plays out
It is not the size of a Collection in History that matters......Its the size of your Passion for it!!

It's possible the missing piece was a swastika or something that included one.
Looking for LDO marked EK2s and items relating to U-406.....

I'm wondering if one were to search for photos of Goring wearing such an item what could be found.. food for thought..
