Hello folks, It has been quiet on the TR rings forum recently, so I thought this DHV ring would be of interest. The DHV (Deutschnationaler Handlungsgehilfenverband, or National Association of Commercial Employees) was the white collar workers' union in Nazi Germany. The DHV leadership did not fully support the NSDAP because it didn't recognize the independence of unions. However, the DHV was anti-democratic and anti-liberal. In order to prevent the spread of social democracy (perish the thought! ), it propagated a patriotic and völkisch ethos. The DHV existed from 1893 - 1933, and cooperated with the Nazi Party, seeking to unite Nazism and political Catholicism.

    Yes, nice looking one.
2 piece, made from a stickpin.
But there are real rare ones out made in one piece.

If you have one of these one-piece rings, it would be great to see pictures, Götz. Thanks.

Very nice! This is the only other DHV ring I've seen apart from mine. I wonder if yours is pre-Nazi period. Hence no swastika. The DHV was around for a long time before Hitler was elected in 1933. Thanks for posting.

I think this is a end 20ies ring.
One piece ones with swas are ultra rare. Have maybe seen a handful in long years.
