    Hi folks,

I though this might be of interest. Presumably, the ring is from Kirkenes in northern Norway which was occupied and, according to Wikipedia, an important staging point for the German invasion of the Soviet Union. Apparently, Kirkenes was bombed by the Red Air Force more than 300 times!

This is a favourite from my collection but I know little about it. I am interested in any opinions you might have. Thanks. S

A wonderfull ring and a real rare one.
I think i have seen about 5 to 8 of this pattern over the years.
    Congrats to this Beauty
But believe it or not, meanwhile it seems this pattern is faked too.
Here a comparison to a die i think that was made only a few years ago.

A superb ring and looks to be absolutely authentic. The details of the bear are excellent-unlike the posted repro, which looks more like a long legged beaver. You are right in making it a favourite! Nice colorful enamel ring, indeed!

I'm not so familiar with TR rings so I have never seen this pattern but I fell in love with your example...
It has everything so I understand why it's your favorite.
    Thank you for showing it!

Thanks, yes, I believe that it is its original box. At least that's what I was told when I bought it.

That might look more like the modern die posted above by our late friend, Odal but it’s hard to tell. It’s probably good. Amazing!

There is actually two different sizes of the same die. If you look at the die and compares it to the
ring, you'll see that the swastica got the same size. These dies was found in the basement of a goldsmith in Norway in the eighties. Among other dies with nazi symbols.
