NSDAP patriotic ring Silver 800

hi everyone
just wondering what you guys think about this ring?
looks pretty good to me, just want to get some other opinions?
its enamel and is missing some of the red enamel.
marked 800 silver content

I would be tempted to have it restored...but, of course, the purists would be horrified..lol

i kind of like it worn heavily. has a lot of character i think. but i agree if the enamel was restored it would look better. you like it though william for being period made?

I'm not seeing anything that says it's not period. It looks like it was originally plated. It was never an Expensive ring even when it was new, so the details aren't all that high.

It looks OK to me too. Not a particularly interesting ring, but that's just my opinion. I wouldn't pay a lot for it either.

Or maybe a political ring. I guess political and patriotic meant the same thing to Nazis.

Shame the band is split. Several of my rings are split too but I've yet to hear an adequate explanation for why this happens. It nips your skin if you wear them though... 😂

Maybe because its the thinnest part of the ring and when wearing it it's the part thats under most pressure?

Oh yes!

The ring...for me from the pics a fine one.
Early, pre 33, rather rare and it seems it got a resizing.
