    This ring is made of yellow copper with silverwash .

    On the backside could be inscripted Remini 1943 ?
    The text on the sides is difficult to read .

    I found on old charm-bracelet with the same picture as on the ring . Most charms are from German cities .

    I have no idea where this ring belongs.

    It might be a sports ring of some sort, Benten. In the link below, scroll down to 2018 and check the crest for Pau, a city in southern France. Unfortunately, the link does not go further back than 2007 but the crest looks similar (but not identical, interestingly enough) to the one you show above.

    I wonder if it is from a flying club, given the wings. I also wonder what H I V means.

    I reckon ‘H IV’ refers to Henri IV. He was King of Navarre from 1572 and the first of the Bourbon Kings of France from 1589-1610. He was born in Pau.

    Yes, Stephen you are right. There was also an airfield from the beginning of aviation and in ww2 also used....probably that is why there is a wing-emblem above the crest.
