SS Ehrenring, opinions sought

Seeking opinions on this one. Trying to get better photos.

Some things I noticed on this example:
1. The issuance date is appropriate, for Hitler's birthday.

2. It starts with SLB and there is no first initial.
The skull closely resembles this example SS Death's Head (Totenkopf) Honor Ring, awarded to SS officer Limbart although the one I've included appears to have more teeth. There seems to be some variation in design from legitimate examples I have seen including slight differences in the script for name and dates while the Himmler signature is obviously consistent.

3. My biggest concern is the only Keppler reference I could find is that of Georg Keppler, who was pretty high in the SS and I don't think this is his. Given the low quantity of these, what are the odds you'd have the same last name for multiple people?

4. I also don't like the top down appearance. It almost looks like the engraved part is attached as a separate piece to the inner band, but could also be due to poor photos.

The signature looks a little strange to me, looks laser etched not engraved. Could just be the pictures. Just my .02 cents. Do you have any pictures with better lighting?
