SS Ehrenring/totenkopf ring, genuine?

Dear all,

I inherited a lot of ww2 items from my grandfather recently. And I came across this (supposedly) ehrenring. I saw many other posts of these here to check if they are real/fake so I thought I put this one to the test.

Any advice is really welcome:

"Geldern 21.12.44 H.Himmler"

Do a web searh with key words "SS honor ring" there are original rings posted - Oak Leaf militaria has a few in their sold section and you'll see the difference.
