    indeed!
    Never saw that button before.
    It could be "not military" and it could also been made for a other country then Britain....
    ...That doesn't make it any easier, does it!? ;-)

    Coming back to the "U" button; the "U" might be a magnet, and I am thinking railway of some sort...
    Railway buttons are very much sought after.
    You could try a railway forum....
    Always looking for Belgian Congo stuff!
