    Hello everyone,
    I wanted to ask if anyone could help me identify this button? It is out of the realm of my collecting. Is it authentic or fake? If possible, tell me as much information as one's knowledge allows. All I know is what I was told which is: post Civil War officers coat button. Anything would be great to know about this item.
