    Looks like an M1943 tank officers tunic with Lieutenant shoulder boards.

    Looks very nice. How about more info on where/who you inheriited it from. Here in US? Was someone painting the attic or basement where it was stored?

    Not the most interesting story inherited from my cousin when he died last year along with other items. He and his father had collected military items and guns for many years. As for my family I have my Grandfathers log book from WW2 as a corsair ace. It has interesting entries like shot down zero and convoy escort, dumbo escort I will post eventually in the US section. Thanks for your help.

    Nice tunic made from US made Lend-Lease material. The piping on the cuffs is a nice, and early touch - same with the early type shoulder-boards with silk tress.

    I own one of these also and covet it.
