Default A M35 French Jacket of Captain of Infantry

    Dear friends of the forum,

I am happy to share with you this M35 French jacket of Captain of Infantry.
It has not been upgraded to the M40 regulations and therefore the sleeve chevrons do not have gold edges ( Thanks to Richie for this information).

This tunic is a textbook example adnis the one displayed page 104 in the book of Philippe Rio : :
    Amazon.fr - Soviet Soldier 1941-1945 - Philippe Rio - Livres

I am very happy to have it in my collection.

If someone has some pictures of officers wearing this kind of jacket to share onthe forum, I would be very grateful.

Thanks for your opinion on this jacket.

    Best regards

Very nice display and one I'd like in my collection, but you have thrown me by stating "French"
May I humbly ask for clarification?

    Guys,

I also would like to add that the so-called French style ha snothing to do with the French Army.
It comes from a British general named John French who make this design popular.
