Kaspar, I think this is a postwar example, the most of the war time examples have not such a sharp angle between the buttons row, it's a more V-type. And the overcoat looks like a factory made, but not a tailored example. Anyway it needs hand examination for a final decission

Dima, thank`s for the reply. I was hoping the stamps would lean it towards the idea it being a war time example. Yes it is factory made piece. But really good quality. It had hog bristles inside the construction of a collar and breast. Like I have seen so far only on tailor made jackets. The left row of buttons were not stitched down but used a long fabric lace to pull them through the wool.
