The boots do not look like WWII red army boots to me. The standard Soviet WWII army boots were made of kirza with a rubber sole with pimples; History .

So...no boots made of leather? Really? No soles made with wooden nails?

Hello Matthis, better pictures are mandatory to give at least an opinion ;D please check at least the inside for markings and the soles.

    Best Regards

I received these detailed photos from the seller, can you determine whether the boots are original?

Yes, there are Soviet WWII leather army boots (сапоги) whose soles are fixed with wooden nails. These leather boots were mainly intended for officers.
Kirza boots with rubber soles were more for the men.
I think red army WWII footwear is quite diverse. Still, I am not so convinced that these boots are Soviet military supplies.
I am actually curious what the seller's argument is why he thinks these are Soviet WWII boots.
Were the Russians the only ones to use wooden nails to fix the soles of their boots?
