What are the standard size of wartime visor cap stars (M35 caps)?

I apologise for my rudimentary question. I am a beginner and trying to learn more about Soviet militaria.
Are there differences between Army and NKVD cap stars?

Here is a photo that I found online about the model of cap I am asking about (the square-visor era of caps)

Typically 32mm. There was a larger type for commanders but they're rare.

NKVD and Army wore the same stars on the type of cap shown.

There are several different model #'s of stars (I don't pretend to even know them). However, there are basic sizes for the visor cap, with 31/32mm standard and the larger (and very cool) 35/36mm for senior officers. One and two-piece versions exist for both. Below are pix showing some of the varieties.





The small star is for use on a Pilotka.
