Anchor Supplies finds

Hi All, been a while since I posted anything (was focused on A-levels then been sorting things out for uni), but recently was at anchor supplies and came back with what I considered interesting finds. First off there's a Border Regiment officers tunic, which had a scrap of paper in the pocket (picture and scan attached), oddly this has had the top pockets removed at some point and I don't know much about this style of tunic.

Secondly there's what appears to be an inter-war officers tunic, with leather "football" buttons (although missing two from each epaulette and brass sleeve wound stripe, unfortunately the label was cut out of the tunic. Hope these interest you all.

Your top tunic may have had the pockets removed and red piping added to make it look like a Russian tunic for Troops playing opfor

I did think it looked Russian from a distance on the rack
