Article about: Can anybody ID the badges and Unit on this French Uniform? I believe the Paratrooper Wings on the right pocket are the same as worn by Foreign Legion, but no idea on set above the pocket. Th

    Can anybody ID the badges and Unit on this French Uniform? I believe the Paratrooper Wings on the right pocket are the same as worn by Foreign Legion, but no idea on set above the pocket. The badge on the left pocket says "El Alamein" on the sword hilt.

    4th picture down is french parachute qualification wings
    6th picture is rank i think its sergeant or sergeant 1st class
    thats all i know hope it helps

    For pic 5;
    In addition to the French para wing qualification , one could add any other foreign wing on his uniform when you got the qualification.
    Thise is one, I just don't know wich coutry it represents.

    picture 3 is french forign legion para wings for 5th something might be company
    stuka not dutch german belgium british veitnamese chinese or spanish (running out of countrys)

    This is a Post war Italian Para with French wings and Italian pARA wings
