Found this at my local goodwill, it’s well decorated but unfortunately is completely unnamed. Got it for $11 with the trousers and belt. The pockets had some items but mostly from the dry cleaners.

Nice decent complete uniform.. The Army Dress Green uniform was introduced in 1956 and it was phased out and replaced by the ASU (Army Service Uniform) in the mid 2000's. This uniform has also been replaced with the Army's new Pinks and Greens, an homage to the WW2 days of the dress uniforms worn by many officers.. (Unfortunately the Pinks and Greens were never worn by WW2 enlisted Soldiers) But today's Soldiers will be wearing this new upgraded P&G uniform..

I retired in 2005 and wore my Dress greens for my retirement photo.

An early GWOT (Global War of Terror) uniform.. as indicated by the National Defense Service Ribbon, the Global War of Terrorism Service Ribbon and the Army Service Ribbon. All three of these ribbons were awarded upon completion of Basic and Advanced Individual Training..

A decent pickup for $11 dollars..

I think I've found some of my best buys in second hand stores or garage sales. I might add that the soldier who wore this was an infantryman which is signified by the blue shoulder cord and blue disc on the collar brass, also he probably served in Korea with the 2nd Infantry Division. I believe the other cord is a cord awarded to the Unit and was awarded by the French but I could be wrong on that. Still a good buy!

Looks great, and I agree with Sargetom my best buys have been in resale shops and Goodwills.

Dumb question from me? What is the rank? I've never mastered the later system (& current)
Really nice set that needs a dummy to display it!

I believe the rank here is Specialist (SPC)

I wish I had the space for a nice display, maybe in the near future hopefully
