    I don't specialise in this type of thing but I have never seen anything like this and am really not convinced by it.
    The rank and pilot wings appear to be British and the one button clearly shown is of the British General Service pattern but the cut and material of the tunic is very odd. Also, those gorget patches are not like any British insignia I have ever seen, are they French (French tailors label)?

    Never say never I suppose and it could be a hybrid of sorts for a French officer in British service as was the case during WWII (Free French Forces for example) but until proved otherwise I think this is a fantasy item.

    Happy to be proved wrong but without provenance and other evidence I would pass on this one.

    Anybody else have thoughts on it?

    It is bad. The wings are fake.

    I would suggest it may be a movie prop costume. The look of the jacket as Watchog has already noted looks very thin.
