Here's one I've had for years (90's and came with a WW2 Italian officer's jacket) and it's the first time whacking it on a dummy bust! 1940 dated. 1945 shirt, tie is a small 80's one? cap is WW2 MTX. Sorry for the Sam Browne cross strap as it's repro and all I could find!

This is the Italian jacket I think he took as souvenir? in some of the early Australian ground combat actions of WW2 Bardia 1941

Excellent Rene'
I really like the first wearing the same brown belt.
I got one but I need a uniform to put it on.

I'd love to know what the MID was? tried looking at the NAA
Home page | naa.gov.au
Both flea market finds together by the way.

Worth researching this character Rene, looks like an interesting service record.

Not much I can access but I have made an inquiry on what I see on the data base.

I put his name in Google which gave me the AWM Honours and Awards Recommendation, original typed image, citation simply stating: "Gallant & Distinguished Services S.W.P. Area". Recommended by the Govenor General 31/7/43 .

Cheers Ublique I also found a 1946 MID too

Nice set Rene
Question, does his rank typed in the uniform say Sargent?
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
