Leather mittens

Hello. I found the following mittens in the attic, and there are problems with identifying the mittens. A friend who has been collecting war relics since the eighties suggested looking in the USAF direction. It is also possible that such mittens were supplied to the Russians by lendlease. Does anyone have any info on these mittens? I would be grateful for any information.
