Marine Uniform

I have found yet another deal on Craigslist, this time a marine uniform belonging to the sellers's grandfather who served in Guadalcanal. 50$, including the leather belt and hat. It was posted yesterday and I've asked for pictures of the hat. It seems authentic and in good condition, and the price is right. What do you guys think?

I think it is a good deal friend. Jump on it.
The 2nd was one of the workhorse Marine divisions that served in many island campaigns.
Get as much of the mans service record as possible. Make sure you get his name. It should be in the left shoulder inside sleeve with the tunic date.
