    Default My father’s uniform WWII

From letters he received I am able to track his time in the Pacific. Inducted FT Crook, Nebraska 18 APR 42. Training at Camp Roberts, CA RTC 87D 23 June 42. Sydney, Australia. 4th replacement Depot. Warwick Farms, Co C 3rd Platoon, N.S.W. 62nd Quartermaster Pack Troop, near Townsville Australia for most of 1943. 343rd Quartermaster Depot Co, New Guinea and the Philippines 1944-45. 150th Field Artillery, Battery B, 38th Inf Div 1945. Discharged 8 Nov 1945, Camp Mc Coy, Wisconsin. I’m guessing he was issued this uniform, wore it home and it was placed in a garment bag. It seems to be in perfect condition. Just thought I would share it. Sorry I don’t know how to rotate it.

Very cool. Great that you have it. The shoulder patch makes sense for Camp McCoy.
