My Uncle Georges B/D Jacket

    Default My Uncle Georges B/D Jacket

    After my uncle George died this jacket was found in a cupboard, it had a 9mm round in one pocket. He served a full term pre war in the Dorsets, this included a straight 6 years in India.Recalled to the Colours at outbreak of WWII and went to France with the Dorsets as part of the BEF.Evacutated back home on the fall of France. Went to Blandford Camp and did his dispatch riders course and joined the Inns of Court Regiment and served throiugh the campeign in North West Europe. The bike he is training on is a BSAM20. John
