I got this ww2 dated trench coat at ElkHorn Antique market for $15 i found it on a rack that was about to be turned into scrap wool if it didn't sell. I was lucky that i found it because this beauty was about to be turned into about 5 mittens the lady said. There is one mothing whole on the front but it is hardly noticeable. And there is about 5 on the inside but very small. Just let me know if you want more photos. And can you dryclean this??
    Thanks
    Ryan

If you have a well use the well water. If not use spring or distilled water and Woolite. Not tap water. It has chlorine in it. Rich A. in Pa.

One of the main things that can happen to wool when washed = shrinkage.
Washing with cold water usually prevents this.........

I think your air-dry method was probably the best thing for it.
