    'Lache' would be my guess too. Very nice jacket.........!

    Just found a name related to Hump Pilots... Glen R Lucke, but no further info till now.

    That looks more like a G to me then an L

    I agree. When you zoom in on it it does look like a cursive G.
    And that is a great looking AAF CBI officers jacket

    I also agree with the first letter being a "G."

    To me the name looks like it could be J.R. Gaebe. There is a James R. Gaebe in NARA but I don't believe he is your man. Other cursory searches indicate he attained the rank of SGT.

    Thanks all for the inputs! I really didnt realize that L could also be a G. More possibilities to search, but more chances to find something! Really appreciate your help folks!
