RAF battle dress

Hi Guys,

I want to buy this battle dress. I just would love to know the meaning of the piping on the cuffs first.
Never saw it before myself. Anyone out there who can enlighten me?

Certainly a non regulation addition.

The wing is a modern repro too, save your time and money and look for a proper one. The piping is just weird. Looks like something made up for a costume or theater performance.
