    Yes, I thought that especially when the collar dogs and buttons are metal.

    I wonder too about the history leading to three campaingn star ribbons and no war medal ribbon.

    Is there any history with it?

    I've never seen plastic rank pips before. Would they be just for KD Service dress?

    No history at all, I'm afraid.
