Hi,I got the tunic in the mail and thought I would add a few more photos.
The seller advised a 1937 date but I also found a 1932 stamp on the sleeve lining.
The tunic was issued to a signaler in the 2nd Battalion I believe.
It's missing a couple of buttons which I may hunt down to replace.
I have already bought a 1940 dated belt which I hope will complement the tunic.
Hope to hear any comments you may have.
    Thanks for looking.

    Outside of mine too Rene.
Bought the tunic from seller airarm on Ebay in Victoria.
Worth a watch on his items, they have been a delight to view over the last month or two.

Very nice interwars scarlet tunic, condition is good, a great pick and good to see clear dates, I always think of paper labels as being phased out before 1930.

    Thanks.
I recognize and have enjoyed your signature before.
Can I please ask ?Is the paper label you mention the glue residue?
Thanks very much for your help.
Are you able to interpret the ink stamps?

I think the ink stamp along the edge says 2 S G meaning 2nd Battalion Scots Guard? Below that I think is a service number perhaps but I can’t make it out too well. Although I could be way out to left field on that. Regardless very nice find!

Yes, the glue patch with white bits is the remains of the paper label which was glued in place
