For a short period the US Army where issued these (Army patt) during the Normandy campaign but were with drawn due to friendly fire. This cammo was too often mistaken for German cammo
Here's an old pic of my pair of 43 HBT army patt
(I'll have to pull the pair out again to take newer pics) the main difference between USMC and army is the weave of the HBT besides the item pattern

Thanks for the info, I apreciate it!
Oh I found a couple of poor pics of my 43 Army trouser tag
pic no. 2 has at left underneath a bodgy USMC jacket there so don't mistake the cammo patt + this shot shows the Army type of HBT weave

Wow, thats very cool that you have that! Must be very rare.
It looks almost brand new, is it an un-issued set?
Thats too bad, at least ya still have it though!
How much do these usualy price at?
Wow!! Haha I can't even imagine the price it could possibly be at now!
The tag is pretty unique too, cool to have with the uniform. Also Thanks for showing all the pics, very neat set you have.
