    Gday all,
A nice unissued pair of WW2 Australian service boots with Jungle Cleats.
    Maker is V832.
These cleated boots were produced post 1942 due to the lessons learnt during the Kokoda battles in PNG.The standard soles were far too slippery in the wet and rotting environment of the SW Pacific hence the cleats.

G'day Dave, that is a great looking mannequin display mate! I have a similar one but I don't have the boots yet and I can't track down a khaki belt. Well done mate, looks great and the boots are very nice.

    Cheers Dave.
The p37 webbing is a bit of a Commonwealth mix match at present. The Aussie made stuff is geting harder to find and getting quite expensive hey.I remember when this kit was available in nearly any disposal store for a few dollars. How times have changed.
The belt is British, pouchs are Aussie, straps are Canuck as well as his ET carrier.British made WS P1907 bayo,Aussie blue water bottle. He's still a work in progress.
I'm chasing a front mounted gas mask bag at present.
    All the best mate
