ww2 pattern 1940? RN or RAN greatcoat?

Article about: Picked this up last year and haven't really been able to pin point much of a period because the tags being in a pretty faded condition. As pictured it has 2 "Australian military forces&

    Default ww2 pattern 1940? RN or RAN greatcoat?

    Picked this up last year and haven't really been able to pin point much of a period because the tags being in a pretty faded condition.
    As pictured it has 2 "Australian military forces" Bakelite buttons to the rear, one small and one large.
    I believe its a pattern 1940 greatcoat but I'm not sure.
    Any help is greatly appreciated.
