WW2 US Army M1 Steel Combat Helmet With Rayon Liner Front Seam Fixed Bail Early | eBay
Advertised as a WW2 M1, the steel helmet looks to have been re-corked and painted. The liner is supposed to be a very early transitional M-1 liner but looking at the markings they show post war stamps:- Westinghouse, CAPAC and CMC. The CMC stamp was only used during 1961 so this is not a 1941 transitional liner. I hope they didn't just rip out a perfectly good suspension to make this fake piece, if so a very nice liner has been destroyed forever
Hey Jake the faked liner you showed me the other day was it being sold by this guy?
