Korean Era Major m1 helmet/liner

Possibly a post Korean War surgical team M1 helmet used by a Major. The helmet could be National Guard or Vietnam but I think it was too late for the KW( based on the date of the nape strap of 53). The helmet is a rear seam swivel loop Schlueter with a 1952 Micarta liner. The helmet went through a repaint and on the inside are initials that are partially covered. I believe I have a last name but no luck with any research results.
The liner has two nice white painted crosses on either side of the liner with storage damage to the liner. The leather chinstrap is very stiff.
