    Hi All, This is a repainted rear seam M1-C with a bird Colonel rank device attached. The stitching on the steel pot's straps has been reinforced, but based upon the wear at the bales I am sure that the straps are original to the helmet and the reinforcement stitching was probably done when the helmet was repainted. I don't recall if the liner, a rigger made Capac, was with it when I bought it, but it matches the period and is a nice fit. Hope you like it, Jim G.
