Default M1 Helmet Cover; ERDL or Woodland?

A find from the bottom of a wardrobe. I've had these helmet covers since the late 1990's. Looks to be 1981 manufactured if I'm reading correctly DLA 100-81-F-U862 made by Society for the Blind Inc. I understand the M81 Woodland camo came in (of course) in 1981, so perhaps a last batch of ERDL, which it looks to be.

DLA 100-81. Would make it 1981. RDF M1 cover which was a post Erdl and pre Woodlands cover looks to be. I'm not an expert though by any means so best to get a second opinion
Looks like it is therefore one of those "in-between" variants that the cammo collector simply "must have"!

I'm not a cammo collector but I recognise the phenomenon

    Hello to the admins.

Wouldn't it be good to make a dedicated topic / sticky "rough guide to the M1 helmet covers"?
