M1956 Liner - blue

Hi there,

I got a P1956 liner.

The special thing is probably the color. The liner was painted blue.

According to the origin of the liner, the porter is said to have been with the Marines. Such stories don't have to be true, however.

Do you have any information about such a color?

Could well be United Nations? here's one I have (WW2 liner though) for comparison.

Hello, thanks for the comparison piece from the UN.

I know the color comes across as completely as it looks in reality, but the blue is a little different than it looks on the UN helmets. More like a bottle blue.

I have now found other blue liners on the internet.
