When I first started collecting M1’s I did not care for Navy helmets but since then I’ve grown to appreciate them and the different variations of paint colors. Nice helmet, did you add the sweatband?

I’m with Marty on this. I too wasn’t a fan of US Navy lids (weirdly collect German Navy ones though). Maybe it was in my head “M1s are Green. That’s it!” But I have no doubt I will be picking one of these up soon. I see a lot around. Thanks for sharing it!
