Nice M1 fixed bales with French inscription in the liner

Hi guys, I just added this sweet front seam / fixed bales M1 to the collection and I wanted to show you.

I've been looking for months for a nice one like this, it's my first M1 helmet.

There is a nice detail : I'm French and on the liner someone engraved in French "mon coeur" which means my heart=my love
Did you ever see such inscriptions ? What could it be for you ? From a GI French girlfriend ? Helmet would be from a French resistant ? I would love to know more about it's possible history

Nice pick up and a good looking helmet. Do you have any pictures of the chinstrap buckles and of the leather chinstrap? Who is the maker of the liner?
