Rear Seam Swivel Bale M1 w/ Yellow Band

I have had this one forever. Can’t recall where or when I got it. Any insight as to the yellow band would be appreciated. I have seen similarly marked helmets associated with landing craft, but suspect there might be some connection to MP use? The liner also has the yellow band. Looking forward to what you all have to say. Jim G.

I believe the white stripe (like in your other post) is for MPs. Shore party and landing craft folks I thought had light blue stripe (could be completely wrong) I think I’ve seen yellow stripe on constabulary bn helmets. Hopefully others chime in and can say for sure.
