Oh momma! That is a pristine example of the experimental M1 "Crash helmet" developed in WW2 to find a replacement to the M38 tanker helmet. It was to be used in conjunction with a steel shell that was never accepted. I have one myself, but not in as good of condition as this one. Let me know if you would like to sell it![]()
Any ideas on how much its worth? And I might think about lol

An average price for a helmet like this would be anywhere from 175 to 250 USD truely a very rare and neat piece
