usmc patch on vietnam cover

hey guys, just was checkimg out the web for some helmets and came across this cover for sale. I have never seen anything like it so i thought i would post to see if anyone else has. The cover is a standard one typical of vietnam but it has the diamond usmc patch sewn on one side. The patch consists of the pattern the ww2 and korean covers had. What do you guys think?

I think it is a bogus patch.
The small Eagle and Globe was used on helmet covers and would have been centered over the helmet double seam.
The stamp is on a flat piece of camo and not over the cover center seam which is what leads me to think that the cover is a bogus put together.
