like the rigg they also can fetch a high price too. whats the motor i was told they had the isuzu motors put in them. but this could be wrong.
You're right mate, it has a 3.9l isuzu diesel, that was one if the requirements that the army wanted fitted. Landrovers hold their value well and the ex army ones are no different but they're a great camping vehicle.
yea true would be cool taking it out and about. 3.9lt isuzu motor i would image hold its own too. cheers mark.
Very nice mate

Jerry
Whatever its just an opinion.
Love it! I'm seeing a few of these around lately.
I'd nearly trade you my Jeep for it.
Question what do these sell for? the fricken wifey wants one - Seriously!! and I can't believe it!!!!
Sorry Rene, just saw this post! Mate, they vary a bit. The ffr's are the ones you want, they've generally done less kilometres and have had an easier life than the general service ones. The gs ones do have a drop down tailgate though which is handy, the ffr has a fixed half tailgate but it would be pretty easy to modify it. I paid $18000 but I've seen them as cheap as $10000. Mine has only done 93000kms. I love it! Get one before the missus changes her mind!
That is a sweet ride Dave! Did the ladder come with it! How are those tires? Sure they aren't the quietest on the road
Rene: She's a keeper if she wants something like this!
"Please", Thank You" and proper manners appreciated
My greatest fear is that one day I will die and my wife will sell my guns for what I told her I paid for them

Thanks Michael, the tyres are the ones the army uses, they're noisy but they're difficult to hear over the flapping canvas and general rattling of a landrover! The ladder is a 3 metre ladder, I couldn't fit it in my defender 90 but I've wanted one for a while so I went down to the hardware shop and bought one, I took this pic in the carpark.
