Picked up this today , i think it is a British tank periscope but does anyone know what tank it is from , thank you for any help

perhaps it is the angle of the pictures, but it looks very bulky for a tank periscope.
Looks far too flimsy to be a tank periscope, unless it fits into an armoured housing!....
it's a prism from an afv but not sure which. it looks early but it's not wartime or at least it doesn't look like any I have seen. doesn't look like cent either. not much help i'm afraid.
